WTO : US blocks India's proposal for work program on cost of remittances (PRIV)

The United States has blocked a proposal from India at the World Trade Organization's Committee on Trade in Financia l Services for launching a dedicated work program on reducing the cost of remittances, suggesting that if New Delhi wants to take it further then it could launch a plurilateral initiative, said people familiar with the development .

WTO : China initiates dispute over US tax credits provided under IRA (PRIV)

China has initiated a dispute at the World Trade Organization over certain tax credits provided by the United States under t he US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) for the production of electric vehicles and renewable energy projects.
