UN : Global food prices fall for seventh consecutive month, says FAO (PRIV)

The international prices of a basket of key agricultural food commodities fell for the seventh consecutive month in Feb ruary, mostly driven by lower world cereal prices, according to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

World cereal production is forecast to rise slightly to 2,840 million tonnes in 2023, mainly on account of a substantia l increase in the forecast for world maize output, according to the UN Food a nd Agriculture Organization (FAO).
