Trade : WTO DG changes focus from PSH to all issues for MC13 (PRIV)

The World Trade Organization's Director-General, Ms Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, is convening an informal mini-ministerial meeting virtually on 28 November in which she has apparent ly changed the focus from discussing a permanent solution for public stockhold ing (PSH) programmes for food security purposes on its own merits to all issues in agriculture, said people familiar with the development.

UN : Palestinian official condemns Israel's justification for killings in Ga za (PRIV)

A representative from the State of Palestin e last week severely criticized Israel for allegedly viewing the 2.3 million peopl e living in Gaza as being "legitimate targets", as well as questioned Israel's claim of adhering to international law in its justification of the deaths of over 11 ,350 Palestinian people.

Climate : Widening gap in adaptation finance flows to developing countries (PRIV)

The latest Adaptation Gap Report 2023 (AGR 2023) by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has found that while adaptation needs of developing countries are increasing, the current international public climate flows to developing co untries are declining, further widening the adaptation finance gap.
