Persisting and intensifying conflicts are t he key drivers of the severest levels of acute food insecurity, and despite declin ing international prices, weak currencies in many low-income countries are sust aining high domestic food prices and hampering households' access to food, the Uni ted Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has said.
