Finance : Dollar credit to EMDEs drops at fastest rate in a decade - BIS (PRIV)

Bank credit to emerging market and developi ng economies (EMDEs) dropped by $57 billion (-4% year-on-year) in Q2 of 2023, with the year-on-year decline in dollar credit (-8%) being the largest in t he past decade, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has said.
