UN : Development issues underlie almost every challenge, says rights chief (PRIV)

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr Volker Turk, has stressed on the need to focus on developm ent and human rights in order to address ongoing multiple crises, saying in his work with the United Nations over the years, "it has become clear to me that development issues underlie almost every challenge we face."
