WTO : India galvanizes South over North's unilateral environment measures (PRIV)

India's proposal for addressing growing environmental measures as protectionist non-tariff measures has apparently galvanized developing and least-developed countries across Africa, South America, and the Caribbean in a seemingly unprecedented development at the World Trade Organization on 14 March, said people familiar with the development.

Up until 2019, nurses in three health facilities located in the semi-arid south-eastern Kenya region of Makueni County struggled to bring critical health services closer to a hard-to- reach population scattered across three remote, far-flung villages.
