UN : High food prices, strong US dollar a "double burden" for South (PRIV)

The price of food reached historic levels in 2022, creating a challenge for food security globally, but particularly for the net food-importing developing countries, who unlike in previous food crises, now face a "double burden," according to the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
