CBD : New implementation framework for Biodiversity Convention adopted (PRIV)

The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) under the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) was adopted in a package together with five other linked decisions in the early hours of the morning on 19 December after protracted negotiations.

Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) have successfully established a process for horizon scanning, monitoring and assessment of the most recent technological developments in synthetic biology.
