UN : Need for inter-regional secretariat to assist South with climate adaptation (PRIV)

The time has come for creating "an inter-regional Secretariat within the United Nations System in the Global South with the mandate of boosting South-South cooperation on climate adaptation and sustainable development", says the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in a comprehensive report issued on 5 September.
