Trade : South demands coverage of diagnostics & therapeutics in MC12 decision (PRIV)

Many developing countries have upped the ante for beginning the discussions at the World Trade Organization to cover diagnostics and therapeutics in the Ministerial Decision on the TRIPS Agreement that was concluded at the 12th ministerial conference (MC12) on 17 June.

Europe : Rights groups question "pregnancy register" for Polish women (PRIV)

Women's rights groups fear that a new legal provision in Poland requiring doctors to collect records on all pregnancies could create what they have described as a "pregnancy register" to monitor whether women are having abortions.
