WTO : DG's alarm over continued differences on proposed MC12 deliverables (PRIV)

Apparently alarmed over the continued differences over the proposed deliverables for the World Trade Organization's 12th ministerial conference (MC12), the WTO Director-General, Ms Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, is planning to convene a virtual ministerial meeting with select trade ministers on 3 June, said people familiar with the development.

Brazil had the dubious distinction of being champion of maternal mortality in Latin America during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a 77 percent increase in such deaths between 2019 and 2021.
