WTO : DG to issue three best endeavour "Plan B" MC12 outcomes in agriculture (PRIV)

Trade ministers from India and Indonesia have apparently pushed back against the WTO director-general Ms Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's attempts to deliver "Plan B" best endeavour outcomes in agriculture at the WTO's 12th ministerial conference (MC12), scheduled for 12-15 June in Geneva, said people familiar with the development.

The Draft One Health Joint Plan of Action 2022-2026 developed by the quadripartite alliance of the secretariats of four international bodies does not include critical concerns of developing countries in the areas of human, animal, plant and environmental health.
