The prospects for a likely new "stealth" round of trade negotiations are growing at the World Trade Organization, with likely top-down, "take-it-or-leave-it" decisions and work programs in different tracks that could permanently damage the multilateral trading system once and for all, said people familiar with the development.

COP26 : Leaders echo climate alarm, call for action now and finance (PRIV)

The World Leaders Summit, convened by Prime Minister Boris Johnson of the United Kingdom (UK), opened on 1 November as one of the key highlights of the 26th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (COP26) with attendance by over 100 Heads of State and Government as well as the British Royalty.

UN : After 20-month lockdown, UN plans to return to near-normal (PRIV)

The United Nations, which suffered a pandemic lockdown over the last 20 months - with most staffers teleworking from their homes - is expected to return to near-normal, come November 15.
