Several developing countries have cautioned the facilitator tasked to lead WTO members in finding a multilateral and horizontal response to the COVID-19 pandemic not to bring in market access issues by including proposals tabled by Singapore and Jamaica, as well as from the Ottawa Group of countries led by Canada, said people familiar with the development.

A dispute panel at the World Trade Organization has largely ruled that definitive anti-dumping measures imposed by Morocco on school exercise books originating in Tunisia are inconsistent with its WTO obligations.

The difficulties in accessing education faced by children and young people forcibly displaced from their homes were today laid bare in a virtual high-level roundtable convened by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, Education Cannot Wait (ECW), the UK and Canada.
