The members of the World Trade Organization on 22 June cautiously welcomed the appointment of the former General Council chair Ambassador David Walker from New Zealand as the facilitator to oversee the "horizontal and multilateral process" for finalizing the trade body's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, said people familiar with the development.

UN : 130 countries promise to protect and invest in health care workers (PRIV)

One hundred and thirty countries have signed a statement recognising the efforts of health care workers, first responders and essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic - "one of the greatest global challenges in the history of the United Nations".

Chile : Betting on green hydrogen, a road fraught with obstacles (PRIV)

Chile is in a privileged position in the world to produce green hydrogen and boost the development of the new fuel thanks to the country's optimal conditions for generating solar and wind energy, but the large investment required and the scarcity of water are two of the biggest obstacles to overcome.
