Members of the World Trade Organization have expressed sharply differing views over attempts by the chair of the Doha Negotiating Group on Rules to increase the pace of the Doha fisheries subsidies negotiations through small group inter-sessional meetings based on a seemingly non-inclusive format and sudden presentation of revised textual proposals without requisite prior discussions and advance notice, said trade envoys.
