In a historic development, the United Nations (UN) Committee of Experts on International Cooperation in Tax Matters (UN Tax Committee/UNTC) has come out with a draft proposal on how the income of digitalized companies - which include tech giants such as Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Google - can be taxed.
