WTO : Facilitator's blueprint sidelines self-designated framework for S&DT (PRIV)

Ahead of a meeting on 13 November on "development and special and differential treatment (S&DT)," the facilitator overseeing the discussions on the reform of the World Trade Organization has issued a one-page document of challenges and options that seemingly undermine the Doha- mandated issues on S&DT, while giving a short shrift to the development-friendly architecture as proposed by developing countries, said people familiar with the development.

Climate : Strong call from South countries for a Just Transition Mechanism (PRIV)

At the inaugural contact group meeting of the Just Transition Work Programme (JTWP) in Belem held on 12 November at the on-going climate talks, developing countries, led by the G77 and China, presented a unified front in advocating for the creation of a Just Transition Mechanism.

Health : Indian regulator declines phase-III clinical trial waiver for Lenacapavir (PRIV)

India's medicine regulatory agency's expert committee has declined Hetero Lab Ltd's application to waive two studies for the manufacturing and marketing of generic Lenacapavir for prevention and treatment of HIV.
