Trade : G20 trade ministers expand WTO reform amid US pushback (PRIV)

Trade ministers from the Group of 20 (G20) countries in Gqeberha, South Africa on 10 October issued a seemingly weak statement while expanding the scope of World Trade Organization reform to all three pillars - the negotiating function, the enforcement function (or restoration of the two-tier dispute settlement system), and the implementation function - following the insistence of the United States to substantially dilute language in all areas, said people familiar with the development.
