Trade : Trump escalates war against US trade court ruling on tariffs (PRIV)

In a rapidly evolving development concerning United States President Donald Trump's allegedly unilateral reciprocal tariffs, a federal appeals court on 29 May temporarily stayed the ruling issued by the US Court of International Trade that found that President Trump's invoking of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose tariffs is illegal and unconstitutional.

After suffering what amounts to a humiliating defeat over its reciprocal tariffs at the United States Court of International Trade on 28 May, the Trump administration has asked a federal appeals court to stay its ruling on grounds that it would harm US national security and trade interests at a time when US President Donald Trump is trying to negotiate trade deals with other countries.

Russian armed forces have committed the crimes against humanity of murder and the war crimes of attacking civilians, through a months-long pattern of drone attacks targeting civilians on the right bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Province, in Ukraine, according to the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine.
