 The Green Climate Fund (GCF) Board approved 11 funding proposal applications amounting to a total of USD 686.8 million at its 41st meeting held in Songdo, Republic of Korea from 17 to 20 February 2025.

 According to new data from Somalia, 4.4 million people could face hunger by April 2025, driven by worsening drought conditions, conflict and high food prices, the Federal Government of Somalia and United Nations agencies warned on 26 February.
