UN : Global merchandise exports fell by 4.3% to $23.8 trillion in 2023. (PRIV)

Global trade showed contrasting trends in 2023, with merchandise exports falling sharply, while trade in services surged, led by a rebound in travel and growth in digitally deliverable services, according to UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

Colombia : $342 million sought to aid two million vulnerable people (PRIV)

The 2025 Humanitarian Response Plan for Community Priorities was launched in Bogota, Colombia on 22 January, seeking $342 million to address the urgent needs of two million of the most vulnerable people in the country, where more than 9 million need assistance in 2025.
