The "decks are being cleared" for extending a second term of four years starting on 1 September 2025 to the incumbent Director-General of the World Trade Organization on 29 November, after she issued a "marathon" statement touting her success on several fron ts at a Special General Council (GC) meeting on 28 November, said people familiar w ith the development.
