At the climate talks in Baku, Azerbaijan, discussions on adaptation-related matters under the UNFCCC's Subsidiary Bod ies continued to see divergences between the developed and developing countries on the issue of the provision of the means of implementation (MOI).

Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) have finally adopted a decision on biodiversity and climate change, at the 16th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP16 ) held in Cali, Colombia.

UN : Global food import bill soars on higher cocoa, coffee & tea prices (PRIV)

The global food import bill (FIB) is expect ed to rise by 2.2 percent, or USD 43.3 billion, from the previous year to exceed USD 2.0 trillion in 2024, buoyed by higher prices for cocoa, coffee and tea, ac cording to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
