China has severely criticised the trade p olicy as well as allegedly unilateral trade measures adopted by the United States during the past 12 months, calling Washington a "destroyer" of the multilateral tr ading system, including the World Trade Organization, in a rather scathing indict ment of the US for failing to comply with its WTO obligations.
