The 11th session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB) on the Pandemic Instrument has resumed amidst concerns over the lack of equitable access to Mpox vaccines.

Trade : China initiates dispute against Canada's surtax measures (PRIV)

China has initiated a dispute at the World Trade Organization over surtax measures imposed by Canada on certain products of Chinese origin, namely, Chinese-made electric vehicles (EVs) and steel and aluminum products.

UN : Nearly 1.5 million people affected by worsening floods in Chad (PRIV)

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on 10 September informed that the number of people affected by torrential rains and severe floods across Chad has skyro cketed to nearly 1.5 million people.
