Many developing countries on 17 July seemingly "complimented" China for its role in the global trading system, including on South-South cooperation as well as being a market for imports of agriculture and other raw materials, during its ninth trade policy review a t the World Trade Organization.

WTO : China requests dispute panel over US IRA subsidy programs (PRIV)

China on 16 July requested the establishm ent of a World Trade Organization dispute panel to adjudicate against "certain subsidy measures" adopted by Washington under the US Inflation Reduction Ac t (IRA) that are "contingent upon the use of domestic over imported goods or that otherwise discriminate against goods of Chinese origin."

UN : The Gambia upholding FGM ban a historic win, say experts (PRIV)

Human rights experts and international and regional expert mechanisms on ending discrimination and gender-based violen ce against women and girls have welcomed the decision of the National Assembly of the Republic of The Gambia on 15 July to uphold the national ban on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
