EC MINISTERS OPTIMISTIC ABOUT URUGUAY ROUND.
THE HAGUE, OCTOBER 12 (IPS) – The European Community believes that despite the tight schedule, the Uruguay Round of trade talks will be successfully concluded before the end of this year."We had very positive and constructive discussions. We are ready to enter the final stage of the Uruguay Round", Dutch Trade Minister Yvonne Van Rooy said at the end of a two-day informal meeting of EC Trade Ministers Friday.
