WTO : TRIPS chair-select links unresolved TRIPS issues with other issues (PRIV)

The chair-select of the WTO's TRIPS Counci l, Ambassador Ms Pimchanok Pitfield of Thailand, has apparently sought to link the resolution of the unresolved TRIPS issues as mandated by the WTO's 12th ministerial conference (MC12) to other outstanding issues in agriculture, f ood security, trade and climate change and WTO reforms.

Finance : Cross-border bank claims fall in Q4 2022, says BIS (PRIV)

Banks' cross-border claims fell by $1.4 tril lion in Q4 2022, with the decline mainly attributed to lower bank credit and a drop in the market value of banks' derivatives and other residual instruments, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has said.
