The world is on the brink of the most severe cost-of-living crisis in a generation in the wake of the war in Ukraine, according to Ms Rebeca Grynspan, Secretary-General of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

The UNFCCC's Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) and the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) concluded their 56th session meetings (SB 56) on 16 June to arrive at conclusions on various matters in the run-up to COP 27 (which will take place in November this year in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt).
