Trade : Conclude permanent solution on PSH at MC12, say participants (PRIV)

Several participants taking part in a pub lic seminar on food security organized by the World Trade Organization on 26 Ap ril drove home a strong message on the need to conclude the permanent solution for public stockholding (PSH) programs for food security at the upcoming WTO's 12th ministerial conference (MC12).

UN : Nearly $1.4 billion pledged for Horn of Africa drought response (PRIV)

Donors on 26 April pledged US$1.39 billion for the Horn of Africa region which is experiencing one of its most severe drou ghts in recent history, with more than 15 million people acutely food insecure in E thiopia, Kenya and Somalia, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

Argentina : Women cultivate dignity in cooperative vegetable garden (PRIV)

The space consists of just 300 square meters full of green where there is an agro-ecological vegetable gar den and nursery, which are the work and dream of 14 women.
