Trade : Brazil initiates dispute over EU measures on poultry meat (PRIV)

Brazil has initiated a dispute at the World Trade Organization over measures imposed by the European Union concerning the importation of certain poultry meat preparations from Brazil, in particular salted poultry meat and turkey meat with pepper.

As the Glasgow climate talks enter the final day of scheduled conclusion on 12 November, groups of Parties were in intense bilateral consultations on 11 November with Ministers (tasked to resolve divergences between developed and developing countries), on the remaining issues relating to the overarching cover decisions, mitigation, adaptation, loss and damage, finance and Article 6 of the Paris Agreement (PA) on market and non-market approaches.
