UN : Fighting in Afghanistan must be brought to an end, says Rights Chief (PRIV)

The parties to the conflict in Afghanistan must stop fighting in order to prevent more bloodshed, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights said on 10 August, as civilian casualties continued to mount during the latest military offensive by the Taliban.
