In the face of the worsening COVID-19 pandemic that has already claimed 2 million lives globally, the proponents of the waiver proposal to suspend certain provisions in the WTO's TRIPS Agreement in combating the pandemic have upped the ante by releasing documents aimed at facilitating a constructive discussion at the WTO in order to reach an agreement on the waiver, sources told the SUNS.
