The health and economic crisis triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic has called for new responses and new directions to change course from the world's pre-existing vulnerabilities that have aggravated the pandemic's effects, and has provided a catalyst for more inclusive trade and economic development.

Trade : North reminded on unfinished Doha Round at WTO 25th anniversary (PRIV)

Jamaica, which coordinates the ACP (Africa, Caribbean, and Pacific) group, and Rwanda reminded the developed countries about the unfinished Doha Round at a ceremony to commemorate the World Trade Organization's 25th anniversary, which took place on 19 November amid the worsening COVID-19 pandemic and an enveloping systemic crisis at the multilateral trade body.
