Finance : Financial markets rise despite weak economic recovery, says BIS (PRIV)

Following the acute stress experienced in March, financial markets recorded steady gains during the period from 12 June to 7 September 2020, driven by supportive monetary and fiscal policy, as well as evidence that the plunge in economic activity had been arrested, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has said.
