China has initiated a dispute at the World Trade Organization (WTO) over various measures imposed by Turkiye on imports of electric vehicles (EVs) and certain other types of vehicles originating in China.

UN : HRC concludes 57th regular session after adopting 37 resolutions (PRIV)

The United Nations Human Rights Council concluded its 57th regular session on 11 October after adopting 37 resoluti ons and a Statement by the President of the Council, in which it, among others, ext ended the mandates of nine country and one thematic mandate holders.

South Sudan : Refugee figures swell past half a million fleeing Sudan confli ct (PRIV)

South Sudan is now hosting over half a mill ion refugees across 30 locations in the country, mainly in the refugee camps in Maban, Jamjang, Wedweil, and Gorom, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, announced on 11 October.
